Wow, can you believe it, Bears families? February is already here and we've got just a few games left before the regular season comes to a close. We've already rocked the Kocian and MLK tournaments, and now it's time to make our mark on the Seattle tournament! With some puck luck and gritty play, a few of our teams have a fair shot of making the playoffs.Attention all you game-changers out there! The Oakland Bears Advisory & Action Board is on the hunt for new volunteers. If you're passionate about making a difference with the Oakland Bears and want to help us reach new heights, we want to hear from you! We've got big goals for next season, but we need your help to make it happen. We're looking for individuals with experience in legal, finance, program management, fundraising, social media, communications, or marketing to join our team. Program Updates

Get ready, Oakland! Spring Hockey is on its way. As soon as the regular season ends, teams will be formed and ready to hit the ice. With two practices a week and a travel tournament to look forward to, it's going to be an exciting time. Stay tuned for more details.

Did you know

Oakland Bears families and OIC Adult League patrons can take advantage of a special Bears rate at The Club at City Center. The Club at City Center is only a few blocks from the rink so

families have the option to enjoy the sauna, get in a workout, run the track, play pickleball, and basketball or even go for a swim while the kids are at practice.

Monthly Membership is $120/mo. Month-to-month contract with $25 initiation fee.
Youth Memberships (13-17) are $85/mo
Youths must be signed up with an adult. The adult may be a Bears coach with a membership.

MLK Classic Tournament

Congratulations to everyone who made it to Irvine for the MLK Classic in January. Based solely on the number of kids I heard laughing and running up and down the hotel hallways, everyone had a great time.
